The Centre for
Technical Culture Rijeka joined this initiative by forming two groups of fifty
users. Through introductory lectures and exercises, the advantages of the
global network and PC were introduced, so that the users could set sail on
virtual high seas. All the course takers registered themselves on http://getonlineweek.eu/ as
new users, thus enriching the internet by one hundred citizens of Rijeka and the Primorje – Gorski Kotar
County.
